When you come to the Czech Republic, it's useful to know some phrases and words, so we made a list with some practical words:

HELLO: Dobrý Den! /dobri: den/ or Ahoj! /ahoj/

GOOD BYE: Nashledanou /nashledanəʊ̯/

PLEASE: Prosím /prosi:m/

THANK YOU: Děkuji /djekuji/

YES: ano /ano/

NO: /ne/

BEER: Pivo /pivo/

WATER: Voda /voda/

CHEERS: Na zdraví /nazdravi:/

Complain about everything and everyone. Typical Czech habit.

Take a plastic bag with you everywhere you go! Forget about bags and handbags, plastic bags are the best!

Pretend you are grumpy all the time.

Beer! Beer! Beer! We love it! And we make the best one!
