Why you should go there

If you want to experience something extraordinary, you have to visit this bar! We bet, that you have never been in something similar before, have you? Keep reading to learn more.

How to get in

Honestly, somebody might tell you, that it is not easy to get in. Sometimes, you wait in front of the door, bell the ring, the doorman opens and tells you that the bar is completely full and you don't even get inside. So if you want to be sure, that you will have a free sofa, just call them before your visit and ask. No reservation! Just asking if you have a chance to get in :-) This 'no reservation' system is set because the owners and creators of this extraordinary bar were so annoyed that people called their fisrt bar (Bar, který neexistuje) a bar you cannot get in, due to the fact that the list of reservations for every evening was neverending. So, new bar, new rules!

BUT, if you don´t like planning and you believe in yourself, you can be successfull as we were! (We decided on Saturday night around 10 p.m. that we want to go there, have a drink and go home. And guess what? We got in!)

Our Recommendation:

• It is better to come alone or in a pair than in a big group - less people, bigger chance to get in!

• Hold on, if you ring the bell, and nobody comes. (We waited outside for about 5 minutes and prayed it would be ok and it was).

The next step

If you are in and just sitting and waiting in the waiting room, be patient! We were sitting there for half an hour and waited for people to go home, so we can go upstairs to the real bar. While waiting, you can sit and chat with a doorman and get to know him or find out information about anything and everything that has something to do with the bar. (The doorman is also a bartender, but for this evening he has to play the worst role: be the man who probably tells you that you have to wait or go home. This part of his job is definitely the most difficult and some people are mean so it is not easy for him).

Come in and admire the art of bartending

When you are finally upstairs, you feel like Alice in Wonderland! You can admire the comics on the wall, the ceiling, a really long bar counter and beautiful sofas. Don´t  go to this bar, if you only want to get drunk. Going to this bar is similiar as going to the theatre or a circus, you go there to admire art of bartending! Don´t expect boring menu and common drinks.

When you sit down on the sofa and get comfortable the bartender comes with a menu and probably asks you how do you feel and what kind of alcohol you like and than he can recommend you something if you want. Or the other option is that you choose one of the interesting drinks, for example: a duck, a compass, or a rocket... Then you can cheat and turn 'the menu' upside down and read the ingredients or wait for your drink to come and be surprised!

Now you can sit, relax and watch bartenders preparing drinks. You definitely don´t be disappointed!
