Dear readers,
if you like going to the zoo, come to Liberec and visit the local zoo. It is not the biggest one in the Czech Republic, but it´s the oldest. It was founded in 1919 by Fritz Weller and Erich Sluwa. The biggest 'attraction' of Liberec zoo is without doubt the only breed of White Tigers in Czechia.
Other animals you can spot in the zoo are for example: zebras, giraffes, tamarins, chimpanzees, lions, alpacas, elephants, meerkats, sea lions, camels and many others.
How to get there
Liberec is a fifth largest city in the Czech Republic. Situated in the northern part of the country, surrounded by the Jizera mountains and Ještěd-Kozákov Ridge.
