La Kavárna - Jablonec nad Nisou

In a building where used to be a shoemaker's office is now an extraordinary cafe called La Kavárna, where 'L' stands for Literature and 'A' for Art. Retro tables and chairs, wines and coffee, cheese and cakes. Our favourite drink? Rosé pamplemousse - a combination of rosé wine and a grapefruit juice.

The cafe was opened in 2011 and not only there is 1st and also 2nd floor where you can sit down and chat with your friends, but in summer there is also a small terrace away from the main road, where you can enjoy your cup of coffee/tea/wine in peace.

The cafe is focused on French wines and desserts - every Wednesday you can taste creme brullé, on other days you can taste cupcakes, cheesecakes or a selection of cheese.

Why you should not miss this place?

  • you will enjoy and taste the atmosphere of a real French cafe (owners import all wines directly from France, especially from small local wine producers)
  • you can experience wine degustations, design markets or listen to travellers talking about their journeys
  • relax in a pleasant atmosphere
  • meet new interesting people

The cafe is situated between the cinema and the theater. If want to use the local bus, you can take numbers 106, 112, 116 and get off at the bus stop 'Mírové náměstí (kino Radnice)', but everything in Jablonec is so close you don't in fact need to use a bus.
If you want to use your GPS and find the place easier here is the address: Generála Mrázka 4, Jablonec nad Nisou.

We hope you will enjoy visit this cosy French cafe!
